Grandmaster Harika Dronavalli wins double gold for India at Asian Chess Championships

Indian Grandmaster Harika Dronavalli won double gold at the 2026 Asian Women's Rapid and Blitz Championships in Hong Kong. Harika scored 8.5/11 points to win the Asian Women's Rapid, remaining unbeaten throughout the event and in the Asian Women's Blitz, she scored 10.5/13 points to clinch her second gold. She won two trophies and about ₹4 lakh in prize money.
