Grant Shapps appointed UK Defence Secy after Ben Wallace resigns

Grant Shapps has been appointed as UK's new Defence Secretary after Ben Wallace resigned on Thursday after four years in the position. In a letter to PM Rishi Sunak, Wallace said it had been an "honour" to serve alongside Ministry of Defence colleagues. He also urged Sunak not to "hollow" out the defence budget.
