Grave violation of fundamental rights: AIMIM's Owaisi on Waqf Act

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday criticised the Waqf (Amendment) Act, calling it "unconstitutional" and violation of fundamental rights, even as the Supreme Court hears petitions against it. He said, "We consider that entire Act to be unconstitutional...a grave violation of Articles 25, 26, 14, 15, and 29." Owaisi added, "Our counsel Nizam Pasha will continue to pursue the matter."
