Greek govt seeks parliament approval to ratify arms deal with France

Greece’s government on Tuesday is seeking parliamentary approval for a $3.4 billion arms deal with France for three new frigates and six new Rafale fighter jets, on top of an existing order for 18 jets. Greece agreed a deal last September to purchase three French-made frigates. Greece’s government currently has 157 seats in the 300-seat parliament.
