Greenhouse gas nitrous oxide emissions increasing: Study

The emissions of long-lived greenhouse gas nitrous oxide, which is also known as 'laughing gas', have increased 'considerably' during the past two decades, a new study has claimed. The rising concentration of nitrogen substrates in the environment has been attributed to practises like usage of nitrogen-based fertilisers and the combustion of fossil and biofuels.
