Greenland seeks potential FTA with China amid US' takeover threat

Greenland's Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt recently remarked that the country is seeking deeper cooperation with China and potentially a free trade agreement (FTA). "China is very important to us," Motzfeldt had told Xinhua. Her comments come amid US President Donald Trump's reiterated desire to acquire Greenland for strategic and security purposes and also amid tariff war between US and China.
