Gross GST collections rise 8.1% YoY to ₹1.83 lakh cr in February

India's total gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 8.1% year-on-year to ₹1.83 lakh crore in February 2026. The cumulative GST collections for FY26 are ₹20.27 lakh crore so far, up 8.3% from the previous year, whereas the total gross GST revenue was over ₹1.69 lakh crore. Experts say these trends indicate that the GST regime is gradually maturing.
