Groww triples valuation to $3 bn in 6 months as it raises $251 mn

Online investment platform Groww has tripled its valuation to $3 billion in just six months as it raised $251 million in a new funding round. ICONIQ Growth led the Bengaluru-based startup's Series E financing round, with participation from Sequoia Capital India, Tiger Global, and others. Founded by four former Flipkart executives in 2016, Groww achieved unicorn status earlier in April.
