GST annual return filing deadline for 2020-21 extended till February 28, 2022

The government has extended till February 28 the deadline for businesses to file GST annual returns for 2020-21 fiscal ended March 2021, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) said. The previous deadline was December 31, 2021. Furnishing annual return in Form GSTR-9 is mandatory for registered taxpayers who have an aggregate annual turnover above ₹2 crore.
