GST collections jump 3.2% YoY in May to ₹1.94 lakh crore

India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 3.2% year-on-year to ₹1,94,184 crore in May 2026, government data showed on Monday. After accounting for refunds, the net GST revenue increased 3.3% from a year earlier to ₹1,66,904 crore. Notably, the GST collections surged to an all-time high of ₹2.43 lakh crore in April 2026.
