Gucci owner Kering in advanced talks to acquire Tom Ford: Report

French luxury group Kering, whose brands include Gucci, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga, is in advanced talks to buy fashion brand Tom Ford, the Wall Street Journal reported. The report said Kering has been competing for the American luxury brand with rivals including Estée Lauder, but now appears to be the front-runner. A deal could be reached soon, it added.
