Guinness World record set at India's Independence Day celebration in New Jersey

A Guinness World Record for "Largest Flagpole Number" was set at New Jersey's Veterans Memorial Park during a joint celebration of India's 80th Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of US. Over 1,300 US flags were arranged to form the number "250", surrounded by Indian tricolours. The events were among several programmes held across US to mark India's Independence Day.
