Guj approves 4 PPP medical colleges, mandates free patient care

Gujarat has cleared four PPP medical colleges in Kheda, Mahisagar, Botad and Gir Somnath by upgrading district hospitals. All free services must continue, with free care for pregnant women, infants and trauma patients. Each site reportedly needs a 10-bed dialysis unit. District collectors will oversee patient services. The move aims to expand seats and rural care.
