Guj police arrests woman in fake marksheet scam, SIT formed for probe

Gujarat Police arrested 30-year-old woman in relation with alleged racket of fake certificates and marksheets. A Special Investigation Team has been formed for probe. Police said suspect sold over 1,000 fake diplomas since 2020 and had connections with university officials. "We are probing her network even with 35 universities, whose marksheets and certificates have been recovered," police added.
