Guj to set up Indian AI Research Organisation with ₹300 cr outlay

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel announced establishment of Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO) at GIFT City that will be operational from January 1, 2026. With an estimated outlay of ₹300 crore over the first five years, IAIRO will be set up on a PPP model with equal participation of the state and central government. It will focus on advanced AI research.
