Gujarat became second-largest recipient of CSR funds in FY23

In the financial year 2022-23, Gujarat secured its position as the second largest recipient of CSR funds in the country. The state received CSR funds amounting to ₹2008.41 crore from 3,012 companies. The top three areas of focus were: education, health and environment, with an expenditure of ₹977.72 crore, ₹577.4 crore, and ₹217.58 crore respectively.
