Gujarat CM opens cancer hospital, free PET scans announced

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurated PB Patan Janata Cancer Hospital, bringing specialised cancer care closer to North Gujarat residents. The facility has acquired a ₹22 crore LINAC radiotherapy machine and will introduce PET scans, free for Ayushman Bharat cardholders. The hospital aims to reduce patients' need to travel to Ahmedabad for cancer treatment.
