Gujarat completes 2.21 crore cubic metres of desilting work

Gujarat government completed approximately 2.21 cr cubic metres of desilting work over 3 years to strengthen water bodies and enhance irrigation resources for agriculture. This initiative, part of a broader campaign from 2022-23 to 2024-25, successfully surpassed its target and included extensive structural improvements and cleaning to restore the capacity of various water bodies across the state.
