Gujarat dairy scheme aids 29,518 tribal women in 3 years

Gujarat's Integrated Dairy Development Scheme disbursed ₹162.28 crore to 29,518 tribal women over the last three years, providing milch animals for self-reliance. For 2026-27, ₹65 crore is allocated for 11,206 beneficiaries at ₹58,000 each. The scheme covers animal purchase, insurance, training, and loans across 14 tribal districts.
