Gujarat defeat Goa, become 1st team to enter Ranji 2019-20 semifinals

Elite Group A and B toppers Gujarat on Sunday defeated Plate leaders Goa by 464 runs in the quarterfinals to enter the Ranji Trophy 2019-20 semifinals. After posting 602/8 in their 1st innings, Gujarat declared their second innings at 199/6, setting a 629-run target for Goa. The Parthiv Patel-led Gujarat then bundled out Goa for 164 runs.
