Gujarat Giants’ Anushka Sharma gets maiden India call-up

Anushka Sharma, Gujarat Giants batter, has earned her first India selection for the South Africa T20I series starting April 17. The 23-year-old impressed in WPL 2025 and starred for India A in the Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars. Kashvee Gautam was also rewarded, while Mumbai Indians' Gunalan Kamalini, Amanjot Kaur and Vaishnavi Sharma were dropped.
