Gujarat govt appoints Uday Kotak as chairman of GIFT City

Gujarat government appointed veteran banker Uday Kotak as the chairman of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company (GIFT City) with immediate effect. Kotak succeeded retired bureaucrat Hasmukh Adhia, who had been serving as Chairman (Non-Executive) of Board of Directors since 2023. The appointment was announced through a resolution issued by Urban Development and Urban Housing Department.
