Gujarat IFS officer suspended for alleged financial irregularities

The Gujarat government has ordered immediate suspension of IFS officer KS Randhawa for alleged financial irregularities during his tenure as Managing Director of Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation. "His inefficiency in implementation of Comprehensive Agriculture Business Policy resulted in...liability of ₹540 crore at the end of scheme," an order by state Forest and Environment Department said.
