Gujarat launches free HPV vaccine campaign for adolescent girls

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched a free HPV vaccination campaign at Sola Civil Hospital, coinciding with a nationwide initiative inaugurated by PM Modi. Campaign aims to protect approximately 5.50 lakh adolescent girls from cervical cancer, with the state government allocating ₹150 crore to provide the vaccine at no cost, supported by extensive vaccination and awareness efforts.
