Gujarat man makes fertiliser from cow urine, earns ₹70 lakh/year

Led by Gujarat based Bhavesh Purohit, Dhenu Prasad is an organic farming startup that turns cow urine into 100% natural fertilisers. Founded in 2017, the startup promotes eco-friendly alternatives to chemical pesticides. In FY24, it clocked ₹70 lakh in revenue and expects to reach ₹1.5 crore in FY25. It also produces cow urine-based products for Ayurvedic use.
