Gujarat's Dholera green revolution turns saline land sustainable

A green revolution in Gujarat's Dholera is turning saline land into a sustainable ecosystem through afforestation efforts. The Social Forestry Department has planted over 36,000 saplings using the drum plantation method, which overcomes the soil salinity and waterlogging issues. The drums are filled with a special soil mixture of sweet soil, cocopeat and vermicompost to support plant growth.
