Gujarat school principal, trustee booked over assault on student

A 13-year-old Class 8 student of a residential school in Gujarat's Aravalli was allegedly assaulted by the principal and a trustee over accusations of viewing an internal exam paper. The boy was reportedly beaten, confined for hours, and denied water before being hospitalised. Police have registered an FIR under the BNS and the Juvenile Justice Act. The investigation is ongoing.
