Gujarat sets up medical board at Sola GMERS for staff transfers

Gujarat has set up a three-member Permanent Medical Board at Sola GMERS, Ahmedabad, to issue medical certificates for government employees seeking transfers or cadre changes on health grounds. The move will cover employees from eight Education Department districts and four GSRTC divisions, while helping reduce the workload of the existing board at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
