Gujarat welcomes the Great Indian Bustard chick hatching

After nearly 10 years, Gujarat has finally seen a Great Indian Bustard chick hatch, thanks to dedicated conservation efforts. The success comes from coordinated work by the Ministry, state forest departments, and the Wildlife Institute of India using a “jumpstart approach.” This marks a major milestone in protecting the endangered species and boosting its population.
