Gulveer becomes 1st Indian to win medals in 2 different athletics events at same CWG

Indian long-distance runner Gulveer Singh won bronze in the men's 5000m at CWG 2026, becoming the first Indian to win a medal in the event. Having earlier clinched 10,000m silver, the 28-year-old also became the first Indian to win medals in two different athletics events at a single CWG. His 10,000m medal was also India's first in that event.
