Gunman opens fire, holds several hostage at Thailand school; police rescue all

A gunman opened fire at a school in the Hat Yai district in southern Thailand on Wednesday, injuring three people, reported Reuters. According to authorities, an unknown number of students and teachers were held hostage by the accused. Police said that the accused has been detained and all the people who were held hostage have been freed.
