In a bid to follow the Supreme Court's recent directions, Gurgaon is planning to ban registration of diesel-run vehicles. The decision was reportedly aimed at improving air quality in Delhi-NCR while also encouraging a shift to CNG vehicles. The SC, on December 16, banned registration of diesel vehicles with capacity of 2000cc and above from March 31, 2016 in Delhi.
