Gurugram cops issue ₹82.8 lakh challans for riding without helmet

The Gurugram traffic police have issued 8,228 challans amounting to ₹82.88 lakh to offenders for riding two-wheelers without helmet last month. During campaigns conducted in April, traffic police issued 3,549 challans to the tune of Rs 35.49 lakh to those driving without helmet, while 4,739 challans amounting to Rs 47.30 lakh were issued to pillion riders for the same.
