Gurugram man flogs child for 'playing on heap of construction sand'

A case was filed after a man allegedly flogged an eight-year-old child with a stick in Gurugram's Bhondsi for "playing on a heap of sand kept for construction work" and then assaulted his neighbour who came to rescue the child, police said on Friday. The accused apparently beat several children but the child was the one who was badly beaten.
