Gurugram records 0.6°C on Monday for the first time since 1977

Gurugram on January 12 recorded 0.6°C, its lowest temperature in nearly five decades, according to India Meteorological Department data. The IMD added that temperature matched the city's January 22, 1977 low. While such extreme cold is rare, previously Gurugram has recorded temperatures of −0.4°C on December 5, 1966, 0°C on January 11, 1971, and 0.3°C on January 22, 1979.
