Gurugram's Toffee Insurance gets ₹40 cr from IVM, Omidyar, Kalaari

Gurugram-based Toffee Insurance has raised $5.5 million (about ₹40 crore) in its Series A funding round led by IVM Intersurer. The round saw participation from Omidyar Network, Flourish Ventures, Accion Venture Lab and Kalaari Capital. Founded in 2017 by Nishant Jain and Rohan Kumar, the startup aims to make insurance accessible and affordable via relevant products in insurance value chain.
