Guwahati to go under 2-week complete lockdown from today

Guwahati in Assam will be placed under complete lockdown from 7 pm today for a period of 14 days to control the further spread of COVID-19. The state government will review the lockdown situation in Guwahati after seven days from the enforcement of the restrictions. According to the official data, there are currently over 2,300 active COVID-19 cases in Assam.
