Indian gymnast Protistha Samanta finished seventh in the women's vault final at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 on Monday. The 22-year-old, who had qualified seventh for the eight-woman final, averaged 12.883 after scoring 12.700 on her first vault and 12.666 on her second. Canada's Lia-Monica Fontaine clinched the gold, averaging 14.000 from scores of 14.000 and 13.600.
