H1N1 accounts for 98% of this season's flu cases: ICMR
The H1N1 strain accounts for 98% of influenza cases detected in the county this season, with H3N2 making up only 2-3% of the cases, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Tuesday. The council earlier said that the H1N1 strain is not new and current vaccines remain effective against it. ICMR added that there is no cause for panic.
