Haaland's father reminds Brazil's Ronaldo of 1997 match, he calls it 'nightmare'

Norway striker Erling Haaland's father and former footballer Alf-Inge Haaland met Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Recalling Norway's 4-2 win over Brazil in an international friendly in 1997, Haaland's father asked, "Do you remember that I played against you in 1997?" Ronaldo responded, "A nightmare." Haaland's father also presented Ronaldo with his son's jersey.
