Haasan was paid ₹18 cr per day for 'Kalki 2898 AD' shoot: Yugi

Filmmaker-actor Yugi Sethu revealed that Kamal Haasan was paid $2 million (around ₹18.4 crore) per day during the filming of Prabhas-starrer 'Kalki 2898-AD'. "I told him on his birthday that he is the highest-paid actor in India," he added. In the film, Haasan played the totalitarian god-king Supreme Yaskin, who rules over the 'Complex'.
