Hackers are stealing AI subscriptions to use models for free: Report

Hackers are increasingly stealing login details for AI services to use powerful models without paying, a practice known as "LLM-jacking", the Financial Times reported. Google's Threat Intelligence Group has seen a sharp rise in such attacks this year. Cybercriminals are also breaking into company servers and using their computing power to run AI models for free.
