Hackers claim Suno scraped YouTube, Genius to train AI

AI music startup Suno allegedly scraped songs and lyrics from YouTube Music, Genius, and Deezer, among other stock music libraries, hackers who breached the firm claimed. The hacker group claimed that source code from 2023 and 2024 contained scraping instructions for songs. The hackers further claimed that Suno identified over 4.2 lakh podcasts for potential data scraping using Podcast Index.
