Hackers develop zero-day attack using AI for 1st time: Google

Google's researchers on Tuesday said they had recently identified a zero-day attack developed using AI for the first time. The attack was aimed to target a widely used open-source administration tool, but was blocked before it caused a "mass exploitation event", Google said. Zero-day vulnerabilities are flaws unknown to the developers, which makes them difficult to patch.
