Hackers likely used AI to steal ₹360 crore in Bitcoin weeks after AI audit missed bug

Bitcoins worth about $38 million (₹360 crore) were stolen from nearly 500 Coldcard hardware wallets after hackers exploited a flaw in key generation. Coinkite, the company behind Coldcard, said the attackers likely used AI to find the bug in its publicly available code. It added that its own AI security review, conducted weeks earlier, failed to detect the flaw.
