Hackers steal ₹3,000 crore in Bitcoin from payments network, vow to return it after bug fix

A group of purported white-hat hackers have stolen around 4,000 of the 4,200 Bitcoins held by the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin-based payments and settlement network. The hackers allegedly messaged the network, saying they would return Bitcoin worth around $320 million (about ₹3,000 crore) once they fixed the bug. "Make sure every node is patched," they said.
