Hackers trapped Binance techie in fake job interview before $6.3-bn attack

Hackers stole $6.3 billion worth of crypto from Binance after using a fake job interview to compromise an employee’s computer. In September, a software engineer downloaded malicious code following a interview with a fictitious firm. By October 20, attackers used the compromised system and an internal AI tool to access developer's system before draining wallets on October 29.
