Hackers use Google ads & fake AI chats to deliver malware: Report
Researchers found hackers are promoting malicious activity via Grok and ChatGPT through search ads on Google, luring users into downloading malware, Huntress reported. AI chats were inserted in Google search results to mislead macOS users into installing the Atomic macOS Stealer (AMOS). The new attack campaign involves a fake installation guide for the "Atlas browser" for macOS via ChatGPT.
