Had more confidence after playing in IPL: Bethell on Ashes debut

English batting all-rounder Jacob Bethell opened up about his Ashes debut in the fourth Test at the MCG. The 22-year-old, who represented RCB in IPL 2025, said, "I was pretty nervous...But I've played over in India where it feels like there are 1,60,000 people watching." Bethell added, "I definitely had a lot more confidence...after playing in front of...50,000...at the Chinnaswamy."
