Had promising talks with Apple about Starlink: Musk on iPhone 14 SOS feature

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Thursday said the company had "promising conversations" with Apple regarding Starlink connectivity for iPhone 14's new satellite-powered SOS feature. "For sure, closing link from space to phone will work best if phone software and hardware adapt to space-based signals vs Starlink purely emulating cell tower," he added. Apple chose Globalstar's services to power the feature.
